News about Bob from Mary Ann

Hello Everyone
Thanks to Diane and Larry, Marlene and Don, Bob is doing well. He says he has been enjoying the love and concern. He also says he is enjoying wonderful food and meals. He, of course, is lonely without Darrell. Bob has read each and every card that arrives by mail for him. He looks forward to receiving the mail and all things considered, he is Ok. Grief is a process and will take time.

    Please relay this to Bob.
    I have called a couple of times in the last week but just get the answering machine. I only left a message once as I was not sure he was getting the messages.
    I just want him to know that I am thinking about him and that I am still willing to help out in some way if he would like to come to Nova Scotia this summer. Everyone here would love to have him come up for a visit and will help in anyway they can as well.
    Just let him know how much he is loved by those of us here!

    Hello Bliss

    Thank you so very much for your wonderful and loving message for Bob. He does get phone messages. He is a bit “shy” about answering the phone sometimes due to answering calls and questions regarding Darrell. He is so sad and misses Darrell a great deal.
    However, he speaks of you and everyone in Nova Scotia so fondly and looks forward to the time he can return and visit. Your message of love is so very welcome. Bob has photos of you all in Nova Scotia and looks at them daily.
    I’m sure he will be in touch with you soon. He loves and misses you all and is hoping to return.

    Please tell Bob we are thinking about him. We always enjoyed our times together in Paradise and Port Lorne. Darrell was a special person. We will miss his wit and stories.

    Hello Folk
    If anyone is still reading this blog I hope they will acknowledge that it is Bob’s Birthday this coming Sunday, June 13th. I hope he will get many good wishes from everyone.
    And we are really hoping that his plan to come to Nova Scotia for a visit really does happen. We want him here with us for a bit.

    Yes, I am still reading this blog. Please give Bob my love and let him know I am thinking of him. He and Darrell are so special to me. I miss not talking to Darrell. He brought such cheer to all. He is one that is so hard not to think of.
